After seeing Garth Brooks in concert many, many, may 22, many times....This was a very different Garth!
He came out a different, much older Garth...and i mean much older! There was no pictures allowed and i can understand why! He looked like he was 60 years old, huge baggy jeans, hunched over.....BUT! He was as funny as hell, he rocked each decade with songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's! And he had the crowd cheering and the Garth fans remembering the beautiful music he brought to our lives! A MUST see folks!

As cold as it is we decided to hit the beaches...Who does this?
Apparently this guy likes playing in the water!
Enough of that cold beach stuff ....we went to the bottle houses! That's right! This guy made houses out of bottles! I guess he was recycling before recycling was cool!
very cool!
Then we climbed the lighthouse!
and the school house of Stompin Tom Conners!
Tom still donates to the old school house to make sure it is kept up!
Time to head back to warm Ontario!

We left cold and dreary Nova Scotia to head to Prince edward Island...hoping to find some sun or some kind of resemblance to summer!
So the first thing we come across is this old train station....in a town that is like a ghost town...no people, no sign of life and the houses all look they are about to fall down!
Enough of that spookiness...we hit a beach
ok, we hit a few beaches along the way
Amazingly enough we caught the ferry just as it was about to leave! We rock!!!

Interesting place..... Cape breton Island......that's all i'm saying......
Poor Jazzy! We had rain and fog and thunder and lightening and hail....
and rode bikes with wooden people!
After strolling the cabet trail it was time to take cover from the downpours of cold rain for some Crab!

Molly got her glass of ice and cold beer ready....

our rivals......
Who knew he was a kickass volleyball player???
think this team might need help!
The old guys need a rest! hahaha
Things you do with vegetables?

As complicated as everyone told me it would be.....It was a breeze! Because Cinnamon was made in the USA (pays to buy American) there was no red tape or duty on her! She made it to St Thomas on Tuesday and today we went over and picked her up!
Meagan putting her VI sticker on her!!!!!
Stopped at Trunk Bay to show her THEY DON'T HAVE SNOW! She's going to like it here!!!!
Oh dear lord, she still has Ontario plates on....that's so wrong!

So i had this brilliant idea to plant some trees, just a few! Laurie and I got 11 holes dug and 11 trees planted before it decided to rain for 11 days! The next day in the rain i was suppose to dig 7 more holes for the 7 trees i had....I got carried away and dug 3 more holes! Grrrr So off i go to buy 3 more trees! Yea, i know i could have just filled in those 3 holes and called it a day....but....they were dug and what the heck....It became a 21 tree salute!

Thanks to those that came out to support the Shriners, thanks to my friends and family that took the time to head out to throw some cash in Kailey's guitar case! Thanks to the Shriners who, through the years have made my life brighter...and thanks to these three (curly, larry and Moe) for cooking up the best darn sausage on the planet!!!!
And I was so proud of Kailey for giving up her time today to sit outside, play the guitar and sing to raise money to help the kids!
